Merry Christmas and 11 Months Old!

Joshua got to meet Santa this weekend...

Aunt Nickie came to visit.

He received lots of fun gifts and toys...

We couldn't believe that he knew what to do with the drums!

He also turned 11 months old!

Trip to Erie

We took a very quick trip to Erie to celebrate the holidays. Unfortunately we forgot the camera so we just have a couple of pics. Here's Joshua with our friend Justin's son Ethan. It was so cute because Joshua just wanted to play with Ethan, but Ethan kept running from him. After about an hour, they warmed up to each other and had fun.

This was amazing to Josh and I...Joshua actually sat and listened while Grandma Lisa read a book to him! Normally with us, he doesn't stay still!

He's in the Christmas Spirit

Joshua loves this Christmas dog! Every time he sees it he laughs and points at it until we press the button. He has been dancing to music a lot lately...

He's gonna be walking very soon!

Here's a video of a few steps. He's up to about 6 or 7 in a row and when he's done he is so proud of himself! He usually has a big grin.

He absolutely loves phones, so Babaloo bought him this Elmo phone and he loves it!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Joshua turned 10 months old on Thanksgiving! It is tough to take these pictures now that he is so mobile.

Here's the rare shot of me and my guy. He looked so cute all bundled up.

Here he is on Thanksgiving morning...

We gave him regular food for the first time! He had turkey, potatoes, cranberries and even a little bit of sweet potato pie. He loved every bite, too.

And here he is at Stride Rite getting his first pair of shoes. He took 3 steps without holding on this past Friday, so we know he is gonna be off and running at any time!

Joshua's going to be a big brother!

We were so excited to finally be able to tell everyone that Joshua is going to be a big brother this weekend! The new baby is due June 3, 2011.

He is gonna be a great big brother. He just loves kids! Here's a pic of him with his buddy cousin Anthony. He got to hang out with him all weekend and had a ball!

Don't be pushy!

The other night Joshua discovered that he was able to push the ottoman around the living room. He thought he was so cool, until he would hit a barrier (like the couch or dining room table) when he would throw himself on the floor crying!

So I decided to get him a real push toy and he liked it much better! Sometimes he pushes forward so fast that his little feet can't catch up! It's much easier to maneuver and he cruises all around the living room and dining room table with it.

Fall fun

Whenever we hand Joshua this little stuffed dog, it's like a reflex for his thumb to go in his mouth. Even if he's not tired, he assumes position.

We went to see our cousin Sammy's playoff football game. Joshua was very bundled up and not too happy about it. Here's a pic of him with Aunt Pat and Grandma. He did love watching all of the kids.

Nine Months Old and Happy Halloween!

Joshua turned 9 months old! He had his doctor appointment and he weighs 22lbs 9oz and is 29 inches long. That puts him in the 75th percentile. He is Mr. Personality lately - he's babbling alot, trying to talk on the phone and even dancing!

Joshua's First Plane ride

I know, I know, I am very late in posting! Last weekend we took Joshua on his first airplane ride to visit Uncle Joe and Aunt Ericka and we left our camera cord there.

Joshua did really well on the plane and slept all the way there. Luckily it's only a one hour flight. We left on Friday morning and here he is at the airport with his seasoned traveler Dad...

Pumpkin Patch

We had unseasonably beautiful 80+ degree weather this past weekend, so it was a great weekend for Grandpa Jerry and Grandma Lisa to visit! Unfortunately, Joshua was fighting a flu bug, but he was a pretty good sport. He LOVED the pumpkins...

And he thought the animals were pretty cool, too. Grandpa Jerry is showing him a chick in this picture and the look on his face just captures his amazement.

There were goats in this area and Joshua wouldn't let go of the fence!

He was not a big fan of this, but I think it makes a funny picture :)
