Papa Jerry an Grandma Lisa's Visit

Papa Jerry and Grandma Lisa (and Cricket!) came for a visit last weekend.  We had a great time & got a lot done around the house.  Grandma Lisa read the boys lots of stories and watched Monsters University with them.  Papa Jerry spent time doing projects with their help.  It was a great weekend that went too fast!

Me & Tyler at the neighbor's housewarming party.

Joshua loved tossing the leaves!
Tyler's first time driving :)
Another funny Joshua story...I was asking him what type of sandwiches he eats at daycare in an effort to get ideas on what groceries to buy.  He answers, "Mom, I don't like to eat sandwiches for lunch...but I DO like ice cream sandwiches!"  Not quite the answer that I expected, but he always keeps us on our toes :).

Trying to get back to blogging...

There are no guarantees, but I am going to try to get back to blogging about the boys.  We have so much fun and they are blossoming into such cool little guys, that I want to try to document  some of our moments.

Joey, Ericka and the boys were in town earlier this month, so we took the boys to get pictures.

I have a funny Joshua story that happened at dinner time last night.  Joshua ate everything on his plate and wanted dessert.  So I made him wait a few minutes to see if Tyler would eat some more (he has a bad cold and was mostly playing with his food).  Finally, I told Tyler that he has to taste his broccoli if he wanted to dessert.  He refused, so Joshua got his dessert (Strawberry Applesauce).  Tyler proceeded to cry for 20 minutes straight at the table about how he didn't want broccoli, but wanted dessert.  About 10 minutes into the crying Joshua and I went in the living room and turned on the TV.  Tyler refused to get off the chair because he wanted dessert.  At one point,  Joshua ran upstairs to go to the bathroom and I went over to try to get Tyler to calm down.  Joshua called me to wipe, but when I went up there the bathroom door was closed (which is odd).  I opened it and asked him if everything was ok and he said..."Yeah, I just didn't feel like hearing Tyler cry while I was going to the bathroom, so I shut the door."  He is my little old man!
