7 Months Old

Baby Boy is 7 months old now. He's crawling, pulling himself up and babbling a lot.

This past Saturday was his Baptism at St. Francis Xavier. It was a small crowd, but we were glad to get it done! Here's our handsome guy...

Josh's sister Nickie was his Godmother and my brother Joe was his Godfather.

♥♥♥Unfortunately Joshua's Great Grandma Betty passed away this morning. She loved spending time with him and we will all miss her a lot.♥♥♥

We have a crawler and a tooth!

Joshua has mastered crawling and is all over the place! He also cut his first tooth. It hasn't fully popped out yet, but the slit is there and you can feel the sharp tooth peeking out. He had a rough time last weekend while he was teething, but now he's back to his jolly self.

Sitting up and Meeting Jocelyn!

Joshua has had another busy week! First of all, I forgot to mention his stats from his 6 month doctor appointment last week. He weighed in at 19lbs 10.5oz and 27 1/4" long! Both weight and height have dropped down to the 75th percentile, so he's definitely growing into his skin. He has mastered sitting up on his own and loves to play on the floor. His current favorite companion "the Spanish dog" is next to him in this picture. We call him the Spanish dog because when we make him bark we roll our r's (well only I do because Josh can't roll his r's) and the baby usually laughs.

He had a bit of a bug this past week and also a really bad diaper rash. Thursday night we were doing everything possible to help relieve the diaper rash and didn't expect to have a very good night of sleep. Well, he ended up sleeping through the night and when I went into the shower on Friday morning, I still didn't hear him. A little while later I could hear that he was up and went in to check on him and this is what I found....he was sitting up on his own playing in the crib! I couldn't believe it and I called Josh in to check it out. He is growing up way to fast!!!

This past Saturday Josh's Aunt Kim, Uncle Tiger, and daughter Jocelyn came down from Racine for a visit. We had a really nice day spending time with them and Joshua and Jocelyn just loved each other! I'm starting to realize that it's close to impossible to get a picture with more than one child with them both looking at the camera at the same time. Here are my attempts!

Family Day and Meeting Alexia

Josh and I took off last Monday to spend with Joshua as a family. We decided to take a trip to the Shedd Aquarium. The stroller line was much quicker than the regular entrance!

On our way back to the burbs, we stopped over to meet sweet little Alexia, our friends Diane and John's new baby girl. She is an angel with a full head of black hair!

On Tuesday, Joshua and I spent the day together. He got to sit in the cart for the first time and he loved it! He was amazed to look at everything.

He was hamming it up and smiling and babbling to anyone that looked his way!

On Saturday, we had Joshua's six month professional pics taken. We went to the Lillibelle Rose studio this time. Francine was fabulous as usual, she's the same photographer we used for Joshua's newborn pics. Here's a sneak peek!
