What a busy weekend!

Wow, this weekend was the busiest weekend since Joshua was born! First up on Friday was Joshua's first time meeting his Aunt Nickie and Uncle John!

We all went out to a casual dinner to celebrate Joshua's Babaloo's 60th birthday. He did really well and hung out like a trooper for the couple of hours we were there. Here's a pic of Joshua (she calls him B2) with the birthday girl...

Saturday was my good friends Katie and TJ's daughter Nora's 1st birthday party. It was a fiesta of fun and tons of new faces for Joshua to meet. I will post a picture of Joshua and the birthday girl later.

Joshua also spent his first night at Babaloo's house! Aunt Nickie volunteered to do the night shift and did a great job. He was zonked out and was snoring when he got home! Here's a little video clip. (You'll have to mute the music player at the bottom of the screen to hear it.)

Then Sunday was my first Mother's Day! I was so excited to be celebrating as a mom this year. First we hung out with Grandma and Great Grandma Camie...

Then we went to visit Great Grandma Betty...

♥♥♥And finally one of the proud Momma and baby boy. I am so grateful to be blessed with Joshua as my son. I have always known how special moms are, but becoming a mom has given me a whole new appreciation for all of the moms in my life, especially my mom and my mother-in-law. We love ya lots and hope you had a very Happy Mother's Day! ♥♥♥
