Tyler gets his first tooth!

As you can see in this pic, Tyler has been quite drooly lately. His first tooth finally popped out this past week and it looks like the second won't be far behind!

Here's Joshua all ready for our first big snow of the winter! He's so proud of his boots!

Tyler started clapping his hands together a couple of weeks ago, but this week he's starting to recognize that you clap when you sing patty cake. So cute!

Ty is 7 months old and Happy New Year

Tyler turned 7 months on 12/27. He is growing up so quickly. He's teething like crazy, growls and makes all kinds of funny noises and is just a happy guy. He's a bit of an early bird, but wakes up so happy that's it's hard to be upset ♥

This New Year was pretty low key in our house. We just hung around our house. Here are the boys.

Then, at 6:30 we had a little count down complete with sparkling grape juice, horns and poppers with confetti.

Some "firsts" for Tyler & Christmas fun

We took Tyler to get fitted for his first pair of shoes. His feet are still a bit on the chunky side, so we ended up with Robees for now. Each time we'd try to get a pair of shoes on his feet he'd ball up his whole foot! I guess he needs to get used to having something on his feet before putting shoes with soles on them.

This was the first year of Christmas baking that I have had an assistant! Joshua seemed to like helping...he also enjoyed tasting each of the ingredients along the way.

Papa Joe gave him his first haircut to get ready for the holidays! He didn't seem to like it and cried until we were done.

We went over to Boo's for Christmas Eve. One of Josh's vendors got the boys their adorable "Rice Boys" Christmas shirts! This is the best one we were able to get of the three kids.

Joshua and Maddie were having a blast. They were jumping off the couch onto a beanbag chair (supervised by Josh, of course!)

After Boo's, we headed over to Aunt Trina's for the Pieroni Christmas extravaganza. This was both boys first year because the party doesn't start until 8 which is an hour past their bedtime! This year we braved it and both boys held up pretty well. They were exhausted by the time we left. Here's one sleepy head..

On Christmas morning, this is how we found Joshua. He was still passed out sleeping at 7AM!

Then we packed it up and went back to Boo's. She had lots of gifts for the boys from her and Aunt Nickie, too.

I feel so blessed this Christmas to have these 2 amazing boys, an awesome husband who is the best dad to our boys, and so much caring, phenomenal family (both near and far!). These are the gifts that I cherish not only during the holidays, but all year long ♥♥♥

Winter Fun

We had Tyler's 6 month pictures done and they turned out so cute! He's our happy guy. He had his 6 month doctor visit and weighs a whopping 23lbs 10 oz! He's also 28 1/2 inches long. He is off the charts in both! He can turn over both ways, but is pretty content just hanging out on his back. Joshua is still his favorite entertainment, but he loves Elmo, too. He also just started clapping his hands within the last week or so.

Of course we had to get a few with both boys!

They offered to take some pics of Joshua by himself and he just turned into a little model. He sure knows how to work the camera (when he wants to!)

Here's a short video clip of the boys with the singing dogs. They both love these dogs and were dancing in they're seats to the songs.

We had a little snowfall yesterday. It was only about an inch, but it was the perfect consistency for snowballs! Joshua loved it and didn't want to go inside when we were done.

Momma's little elf!

Grandma's work had a Breakfast with Santa for the kids. They had a blast and were the hit of the breakfast with their matching shirts and "faux-hawks".

Our friends Marc and Sue had a cute Christmas party. We love getting the kids together! Here's a pic of all of them...
